¶JT01 Johannah (or Joanna) Dobbins, who is found here, was born in 1802 in Montgomery Co VA and died in 1844 in Henry Co MO. Her parents were Thomas Dobbins and Mary Huff. On 16 Apr 1823 in Montgomery Co, she married Samuel Teaney, son of Daniel Teaney. Samuel was born in 1799 in Montgomery Co and died in Sept 1843 in Henry Co. Samuel and Johannah left Montgomery Co in 1837. They stopped for two years in TN and for six years in KY before arriving in Henry Co in 1843. Samuel died the following year and his wife died in the fall of the next year. Samuel was a wagon maker and was a soldier in the Mexican War. They had a total of eight children. Samuel is mentioned in History of Clinton and Caldwell Counties, MO (1923) and in the Montgomery Co census of 1830.

¶JT02 Thomas Gordon Teaney (from ¶JT01) was born on 1 Oct 1825 in Montgomery Co VA, and died 5 Aug 1911 in Clay Co MO. He was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Clay Co MO. He was a farmer and served in the Mexican War. He married (1st) Nancy Ann Wiley on May 20, 1847 in Buchanan Co MO, daughter of Samuel and Phoebe Wiley. She was born 6 Aug 1823 and died 20 Apr 1874 in Clay Co MO. He married (2nd) Elizabeth Cave Duncan in 1879, widow of David T. Duncan, in Clay Co MO, daughter of Urial and Susan Cave. She was born 1 Oct 1828 in MO, and died 6 Jul 1899 in Clay Co MO.

Thomas Gordon Teaney moved from Henry Co to Platte Co MO. He and his first wife Nancy Ann Wiley pioneered in three counties -- Platte, Buchanan, and Clay -- settling in 1867 on a farm of 130 acres. He was listed in the 1850 Census for Marshall Twp, Platte Co MO. His biography is in History of Clay and Platte Cos. MO (1851)

¶JT03 Charles Paris Teaney (from ¶JT01) was born 1838 in KY, and died 12 Jan 1887 in Buchanan Co MO. He married Eliza Frances Wylie on 1 Jan 1863 in Buchanan Co MO. She was born 1843 in KY, and died 22 May 1923 in Maryville, Nodaway Co MO, and was buried in Marian Cemetery, Nodaway Co MO. According to the Census, between 1855 and 1859 he lived in Atchison and Brown Cos KS.

¶JT07 James Madison Teaney (from ¶JT02) was born 9 Jul 1860 in Platte Co MO, died 21 Mar 1935 in Plattsburg, MO, and was buried in Plattsburg. He was a farmer and appeared in the 1900 Census of Clinton Twp, Clinton Co MO. He married Julia Anne Lewis on 8 Nov 1893 in Clinton Co MO, daughter of Morton Lewis and Mary Baber. Julia Ann was born on 9 Dec 1867 in Clinton Co MO, died 23 Oct 1923 in Clinton Co MO, and was buried in Plattsburg.

He married Mollie Winfrey on 1 Mar 1893 in Osborn, MO, daughter of Americus and Sabrina Winfrey. She was born 3 Mar 1872 in KS, died 9 Aug 1935 in MO, and was buried in Fairview Cemetery.

¶JT09 William H. Teaney (from ¶JT02) was born 25 Aug 1868 in MO, died 12 Nov 1935 in Clay Co MO, and was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Clay Co. He married (1st) Mary (Mollie) Lizzie Dykes on 13 Dec 1894 in Kearney, Clay Co MO, daughter of John Dykes and Susan Riley. She was born 13 Dec 1874, died February 25, 1898 in Clay Co MO, and was buried in Mt Olivet Cemetery. He married (2nd) Kate Emma Gow, daughter of Marcus Gow and Fannie Wilson. She was born 15 Sep 1871 and died 6 Sep 1957.

¶JT11 Susan E. Teaney (from ¶JT03) was born 1869 in MO. She married David O. Hazelrigg on 23 Jan 1889.

¶JT12 Fredonia May (from ¶JT04) was born 31 Dec 1868 in TN, died 22 Mar 1949 in OK, and was buried in Okmulgee OK. She married Jefferson Davis Campbell in 1884 in MO, son of Morton Campbell and Mary Northern. He was born in 1863 in MO, died October 30, 1930 in Okmulgee, and was buried in Okmulgee.

Gordon Lowe Campbell, b. 18 Jul 1909 Mounds, OK, d. October 1951 Neosho, MO of leukemia, and was buried in IOOF Cemetery, Neosho MO. He served in WWII in New Caledonia as a medic. Prior to the war he had been a manager of Sterling Stores, working in TX, MS, AR and MO. After the war he sold Prudential Insurance. He married (1st) Lou Ethel Wyatt in 1933, b. 20 Oct 1913 near Jackson MS, d. 27 Oct 2001, LaJolla Convalescent Home, San Diego, CA. He married (2nd) Juanita Ethel Patton in 1940, b. 31 Aug 1911 Newton Co MO, d. 2 Mar 2000 Blue Springs, MO, and was buried at IOOF Cemetery.

According to her obituary, Juanita Patton Campbell, 88, of Oak Grove, died Thursday, 2 Mar 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital of Blue Springs. Mrs. Campbell was born 31 Aug 1911 in Neosho, MO. She married Gordon L. Campbell on 18 May 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1951. She had been employed as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Neosho. She had moved to Oak Grove three years ago. She was a Baptist. Her survivors include two daughters, Betty Goodnight, Oak Grove, and Pat Bennholz, Independence, a son, Gordon Campbell, Fort Smith, AR, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Allgeyer, and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily Allgeyer.
