OTHER DESCENDANTS OF CHARLES2 DOBYNS, SON OF DANIELI DOBYNS

¶369 ANN3 DOBYNS (CHARLES2, DANIELI) (from ¶27) was born in Richmond Co. Va. on 12 Jan 1729 and presumably died before 26 July 1780 on which date her husband WILLIAM BAKER drew his will in which he did not mention his wife. (fn 410) She married as his third wife, WILLIAM BAKER of Richmond Co. Va.

WILLIAM BAKER married (1st) DORCAS MISKELL, daughter of HENRY MISKELL and his wife WINIFRED DALTON. The will of HENRY MISKELL, drawn 1 Oct 1760, names among others WILLIAM BAKER and MISKELL's granddaughter WINIFRED BAKER. (fn 411) DORCAS BAKER, wife of WILLIAM BAKER, died 4 Oct 1745. (fn 412) WILLIAM BAKER married (2nd) BETTY STANFIELD, born 9 Oct 1723, only daughter of THOMAS STANFIELD and his wife MARY DALTON, by Richmond Co. bond dated 7 Apr 1746, and signed by HENRY MISKELL. The executors of the will were his "friends" (i.e. brothers-in-law) DANIEL DOBYNS and ABNER DOBYNS. The will was proved on 7 Oct 1782. (fn 416) ABNER DOBYNS rendered his account of his executorship of the estate of WILLIAM BAKER on 12 Nov 1782, which was recorded in 1790. (fn 417)

Births of some of the children of WILLIAM BAKER are recorded in the North Farnham Parish Register, Richmond Co. Va. (418)

CHILDREN of his marriage with ANN3 DOBYNS were

The second wife of ABNER3 DOBYNS was WINIFRED WILLIAMS, as evidenced by a deed of gift dated 5 Jan 1784 in which ABNER DOBYNS of North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co., gave to WINIFRED WILLIAMS three slaves (named) "to be disposed of by her to any children she may have by the said ABNER DOBYNS her intended husband."
